Marketing Your Video - 5 Minutes Of Quality

When it comes to that all important website traffic, it's important to use whatever tools you can online, and it gets easier all the time. With more and more tools available, and some of the older tools simply aren't working as well, you can get more qualified traffic for less money. Using videos to drive traffic is definitely a growing trend, but to get the most out of the process you may need help  marketing your video.

Of course, pretty much everyone has heard of YouTube and this is a great place to start. You can even get your own YouTube channel and have others follow you. This is a great way to establish yourself as a leader and someone that other's would benefit from following.  

Of course YouTube isn't the only show in town, there are hundreds of online video directories where you can upload your videos.  To make sure that your videos will actually accomplish for you what you want them to, make sure you take the time to make a quality video. Don't try and throw something together in a few minutes.

A quality video doesn't have to be professionally done. As a matter of fact a more personal approach usually works best. Having said that though, there are some things your video must have.

For one thing, it has to have decent video. If people can't see what you're doing or the video keeps breaking up, they'll stop watching and any advantage you may have had will be gone.

Secondly, the audio must be clear. Again, if the viewer can't hear or understand what is being said they will just click away.  It's not just about the quality of the microphone either, it's also about what you're saying and how you're saying it. Are you stuttering and stammering throughout the whole video?

If so that's a real turnoff. It's much better to redo sections of the video instead of sounding nervous or like you don't know what you're talking about. After all, the whole point here is to personalize the experience for the viewer and let them get to know you, if they don't like you it's not going to do much good, is it?

Don't make your video too long. Most online videos should be only an introduction and that means just a few minutes long. Usually around 5 minutes maximum is good. This isn't the place to teach them all your knowledge, in most cases they'll have to pay for that. This is the place you want to prove to them that you can help them. How? Simple, help them. Give them a short solution to some problem they are facing.

OK, so the video is decent quality: the audio, video and narration are clear, easy to follow and on target. Now what?

Well, now you need to use keywords to optimize your search engine rankings for your video. When you submit your video to video directories you will need to fill out a short from. That form will consist of title, description and tags. This is where you'll put the keywords that you've gathered for this niche. That way your video will get a top ranking for one or more of those keywords which means people will be able to find it when they do a search which is what  marketing your video is all about.

Adwords Account - How To Avoid The Nightmare Unfortunately, when you're a fairly small fish in a big pond you have to play by the rules or you will get kicked out of the pond. No where is this more true than when it comes to your adwords account. Google is one mighty big fish and what they say goes, period. If you want to advertise on their Pay Per Click (PPC) network you had better be prepared to play by their rules or they will ban you and that will be one less stream of traffic you'll be able to rely on. Google Adwords can provide you with a ton of very qualified traffic, and it can do it pretty quickly, but it's not without it's pitfalls. One of the things Google really looks for these days is a quality site. The days of mediocre sites is gone. Google expects, and demands, quality sites for their searchers. If you don't deliver you'll be gone, there won't be a negotiation, you'll just be gone. Google doesn't have to explain why you've been banned either, and they won't, one day you'll have a successful campaign and the next you'll be done and so will a big portion of your traffic (which is one reason why you should never rely on just one source of traffic for your site). In order to avoid this nightmare scenario, it's important you don't do anything that would put Google on high alert. Here are a few things to keep in mind: 1. Carefully read and follow the terms of service  that Google spells out when you sign up for your  account. one of the most important things to remember is that you can not direct link your ad to an affiliate offer. You must drive the traffic to your own website where you can then direct them to your affiliate offer. That is probably one of the most common mistakes people make. They think that Google is so big they won't notice, and they may not, for a while. But when they do you'll be banned. It's just not worth the risk. Put up a great blog. 2. Make sure that the website you send your traffic to has some truly quality content. Don't just throw up some dumb blog or website with one article on it and expect that that will be ok, it won't. Again, Google's main concern is for their customers and,newsflash, that's not you. It's the people who search online. If Google doesn't think that their searchers will get what they're looking for when they visit your site, they will ban you. Hey, I don't mean to scare you, I'm just trying to point out that you have to be careful when you're dealing with 'The Big G'.  They have their rules and they expect you to follow them. Don't forget, you're just a visitor in their kingdom and they expect you to carry your fair share of the weight and follow their rules. When you set up your adwords account make sure you read, understand and follow all the rules to avoid the nightmare from 'Big G'.

7 Tips On Niche Marketing Video

If you want to explode the traffic you get to your niche marketing website by using a niche marketing video, you'll have the best results if you follow a few simple steps. Failing to do so can result in a lot more work, time and a lot less revenue. 1.  Take some time in the brainstorming stage to figure out just want you want to make a video about. Ideally it will be about some problem that a lot of people in your niche need help with. Once you've got the idea figured out, narrow down a list of highly targeted, highly searched keywords relevant to that topic. 2. Next you'll want to come up with a script or outline of the exact points you're going to cover in your video. By having an outline it can make your thoughts, and words, run smoother which will make a more enjoyable experience for your viewers. 3. Keep the video short and to the point. Don't let your thoughts meander. Stay on topic. Also, don't give out too much information, leave something for them to want to visit your website or buy your product. 4. Make sure your visitors can see and hear the video, it won't do you any good if the audio, video or voice over is hard to see, hear or understand. 5. When uploading your video  to YouTube or other video directories, take time to write up a compelling description. Make sure the title of your video has one keyword in it, at least. Also include keywords in your description and tags. These things may not be read by your viewers but the search engines will read them and use them to determine where your video belongs. Make sure that your description is interesting.  Don't make it the boring "this video is about... blah blah blah". Intrigue your viewers, keep them interested and guessing. Make it something that they will remember. 6. Get more results from less work, submit your video to more than one video directory, or better yet, submit it to a service that will syndicate it all over the web for you, all on autopilot. 7. Make sure that your video clearly provides the answer to some burning question or concern that the people in your niche might have. Make it something that is common, something that a lot of people struggle with. Giving someone an answer to their problem will go such a long way in establishing your credibility with your viewers who will come to look at you as an expert. Making a niche marketing video is actually a lot easier than you may have thought but the benefits can pay of in a huge way.
